MEET YOUR DESIGN BESTIE
Hi, I’m Jackie!
The artist, the obsessive detail-lover, and the warm, Monica-from-Friends human being behind INKED by Jackie.
I started IBJ because I was once exactly where you are — engaged and excited, and overwhelmed by the finer details. As a former DIY bride, I pieced together my own wedding with Etsy templates and trendy choices that looked like everyone else’s big day. It wasn’t our love story. It screamed cookie-cutter, and honestly? I look back and cringe a little!
I didn’t have a keepsake invitation. I didn’t have cohesive details that felt like us. And I wish more than anything I had invested in it.
That experience became my mission. Now I get to do for you what nobody did for me — create something that is completely, unapologetically yours!
We design together, to ensure every need + want is exceeded.
At IBJ, you’re not handing over a Pinterest board and hoping for the best. We work closely together through every decision, every proof, and every detail — all digitally, all at a pace that works for you.
My process is high-touch and intentional, designed to replace planning “work” with creative “play.” I’ll handle the heavy lifting — the etiquette, the logistics, the vendor coordination, the production timeline — so you can stay in the joy of being engaged.
Your wedding details should scream you from the rooftop. If you love traditional and minimalist, let’s do it with the most exquisite restraint. If you’re a maximalist who wants fun, over-the-top but elegant details — let’s get this party started! Either way, I’m here for all of it.
I take your vision, build thoughtful and intentional options around it, and make sure every single choice is the best possible version of what you dreamed up.
I use etiquette and inspiration as a guideline, never a dictation. The finer details will reflect you and your love story — not what’s trending, and not what anyone else thinks your wedding should look like!
WHAT MAKES IBJ DIFFERENT?
-
As a former DIY bride, I’ve personally lived the overwhelm of wedding planning without the right support. I turned that experience into a mission — to be the advocate, the creative guide, and the communicative anchor that I wished I’d had.
-
With 15+ years in high-end hospitality and banquets, I don’t just design for aesthetics — I design for the flow of your day. I understand venue layouts, service choreography, and how guests move through a space. Your signage isn’t just stunning, it’s strategic!
-
I work directly with your planner, venue, and necessary vendors on the logistical backend so you don’t have to play telephone. From design concept to final installation, I’m your right-hand person — the bestie who handles the details so you don’t have to!
-
Two decades in customer service means clear, proactive communication is my baseline — not a bonus feature. You will never wonder where things stand or feel like you’re chasing me down. I’ve got you, always!
The Fun Stuff
A little more about the human behind the business, because you should know who you’re trusting with one of the most important days of your life!
I am the warmest, most enthusiastic wife and dog mom you’ll ever meet — and an absolute lover of all things love!
I have OCD and ADHD, which means I am obsessively detail-oriented, endlessly creative, and absolutely relentless about getting things right. It’s basically my superpower!
I am Monica from Friends — the hostess with the mostess, the one who notices every little thing, and yes, the one who will absolutely fix that crooked flatware when placing down the dinner menu.
I hold a BS in Marketing and maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my entire educational journey (and while building my business!).
I have a obsession with golden retrievers (how can you not?!). My husband and I have the sweetest, sassiest floof named Aria, who you’ll see on my Instagram & sneak peek photos.
I love to travel, and my favorite places to visit being Italy, Greece, and Las Vegas.
My heart & soul belongs to skylines, sunsets, and being on the water.
